Why is this race not on the national registers as being a tossup? We have to be careful with our resources to focus them explicitly where the odds are best.
Apparently there was a favorable poll. Were there other polls, too?

There have been 3 polls.
Research 2000 did one in Sept. and the results were 55% Carson / 35% Dickerson
In Mid Oct. Selzer did a pool and had it at 45% Dickerson and 42% Carson
Research 2000 did another poll a week ago and had it a 48% Carson 43% Dickerson.
So with NO TV / Radio advertising Carson has dropped from a 20 pt lead to a 5 pt lead.
Dickerson Radio ads started about 2 weeks ago.
With $'s rolling in and the County GOP chipping in some $'s he is looking at some TV Ads late this week to help push him over the top.
Carson's numbers have no place to go but DOWN.
