Something that Mister Chung fails to mention is that if both sides of an issue are fairly presented, most folks will choose the conservative side (because most humans are innately conservative.)

And, Marxists/liberals/Democrats instinctively know that they need to repress the conservative message (and to "spike" news stories that present conservatives in a positive light) for exactly the same reason.

Repeating, most humans are innately conservative, and opportunities to hear both sides of political issues can easily overcome the "conservative override program" that liberals continually, continuously, perennially and perpetually need to scare it's masses into running.

I agree that more North Americans will choose conservative, but I think in part because conservative over here means something a little different than in Europe.

I think that there is an opposing worry in Europe - a need for financial security and a fear of taking it on your own. I am not saying that Europe isn't home to freemarket types. I am just saying that there are different dynamics there.
