You should be telling the Connecticut RINOs to vote for the candidate, Alan Schlesinger, from their own party instead of Socialist Democrat Joe Lieberman.

Base intensity is the key, I make it a practice to ask almost anyone that I see with a 2004 bumper sticker or who has conservative radio on if they have voted yet.
5 for 5 so far in early voting

I find much more to vote for Republicans than to vote against them, or even deny them my vote. I'm happy for the greatly lowered tax burden, original intent jurists, and a foreign policy which faces the challenges of national security head on, rather than sticking their head in the sand.
I think President Bush ranks up with the greatest US presidents, and we are lucky to have him.

Oh, stop it. Do you think anyone here on Free Republic won't vote what they know to be the best candidate? Surely, all on here will try to vote.
I'm going to vote for the most conservative person who has a real opportunity to win. If that is a Democrat, so be it.

Great article/rant!!!

I AM A FULLY GRUNTLED CONSERVATIVE. My gruntle was never removed. Neither were my tonsils, kidneys or appendix, btw.
It's better that way. Never let yourself get dis-gruntled.

Your voting algorithm is fine and correct, but there are thousands of races going on this year, and I'd bet you can't find one where that is actually the case where the Democrat is more conservative. I personally havent seen it for over a dozen years.

THIS IS OUR YEAR!!! We can throw the DNC into a "Suicide Watch Mode".
If the Dems don't win control of The House this year, there will an around the clock suicide watch at the DNC.
C'mon; let's get out and vote and bring the DemocRATs to their knees; for something other than doing naughties.

We have two years to go, and, while the CEO has been great, the majority party has acted like Democrats. Ronaldus Magnus got his agenda through a Dem House and Senate, because they shook and crapped themselves in fear.
Dubya has had majorities, and, I think, will really take advantage of them in his sunset years, if our side can avoid going wobbly.
