Gallagher's campaign was dreadful and was too tied to KH's flawed candidacy, which was why he would've been the worst (of the two) general election candidates. Feeney might've been a good "3rd choice" (and given that he's a Congressman like Davis, would've been on equal footing).
As for Davis, his ACU rating for 2004 & 2005 was a "4" (and he has been moving leftward every year he has been in office). His votes put him in the esteemed company of Congressman and Impeached former Federal Judge Alcee Hastings and he makes Kendrick Meek (who scored a 9) look like a right-winger. Even Nelson's ACU rating is a 20, so that gives you an idea of Davis's radical leftist moonbat voting record.
At the very least, Crist as Governor would have the opportunity to appoint more Republicans to the State Supreme Court, which currently only has 2 (out of 7) on it.
Gallagher's campaign wasn't very good, and Harris's campaign was worse. I voted for her in the primary and will again in the general, but she needs to learn that that's not how you win elections. As for his ACU rating, those aren't always accurate(they gave McCain an 80 and Graham a 100, FGS) but I see your point.
