The only reason Perry has any opposition is because of tort reform.
(I am a long time Repub, but Perry is a total sleaze and I had to hold my nose to vote for him.)

The only reason Perry has any opposition is because of tort reform. I voted for tort reform. It has stemmed the flow of physicians, especially specialists in high risk fields like obstetrics and gynecology and neurosurgery, from Nueces County. I like it that there are now enough neurosurgeons and trauma surgeons to staff the emergency rooms 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

Damn.... And I have been reading post after post on this forum that it's because of his 'good hair' and the biggest 'land grab' in the history of the state of Texas, the TTC. Oh well I've voted anyway so not to worry now.
