I heard that! Apparently the Globe endorsement appeared the same day. Maybe it's self-interest -- the Kennedy machine is notoriously vicious.

Meanwhile years ago Ted Kennedy tried to put the Herald out of business. (These days he's "expressing concern" that the Globe may be laying off some trust-fund-baby staffers of theirs). So he gets the endorsement of the paper he
tried to squash...It's enough to make you wanna throw
