Christopher Reeve? What's his crime?
No crime. He just continually was trotted out as an expert to promote embryonic stem cell research. He was no expert and he was an idiot leftist. But that is still legal, far as I can tell.
I believe Al Gore or John Kerry indicated stem cells would allow him to walk.

His reference simply included him as a tool of the "progressive" agenda, specifically as another "sacred cow" of the liberal agenda to grab more and more of the national wealth to keep it from going back to the middle class, which pays the lion's share of it.
