You could take it to your "patron" as evidence that you voted his way, and then he could pay you for it.

I still think a database wouldn't hurt. I'd like to be able to go to the county site and make sure my votes were registered there the same way that they were cast. We require an ID to vote, but I'd still want to make sure that some cheating librat didn't hack into the system and change anything.
