"This stuff about how Iraq is causing the enemy . . . whatever excuse they need, they have made up their mind to attack and they grab onto things to justify. If it's not Iraq, it's Israel. If it's not Israel, it's the Crusades. If it's not the Crusades, it is the cartoon."

To bad it took Pres. Bush 5 years to come to that conclusion.

Pres. Bush's religion of peace, and worshiping the same God foolishness set us back years in this battle against Islamic fundamentalists.

The good news is this will be an unending war with Islam, and we can get the upper hand, if we have the guts to stand up against Islam. But first you have to realize Islam is the enemy. You wouldn't have any problem realizing that if you read the Koran and Hadiths. And just observed what is happening around the world. - tom

I think that the President has known that all along. His rhetoric on the "religion of piece" was meant to keep moderate Muslim nations (Turkey, Jordan, Indonesia, etc) on our side, and to avoid alienating Saudi Arabia, who does have the oil, after all.

Freedom is alien to Islam. Their faith treats Allah as a master to his slaves, rather than a father to his children. In such a religious mind-set, the idea of freedom is not only politically disruptive to Islamic states, it is theologically disruptive as well.

And so, the President is fighting a stealth religious war, and many people don't understantd it.
