One way to solve the problem is to not hire women. I know a lot of firemen who are afraid to have the women on their shifts. They can not open the fire hydrants and nozzles on the fire hoses and can not carry out the civilians they're supposed to rescue. They're told by the other firemen that if it's time to rescue a fireman, do NOT attempt, just radio the emergency for the others to come to the rescue.
Looks as though underwear is the news topic of the day.

More PC nonsense. Women should be at home. That's about it.

Do they have regular 'underwear inspections' to enforce the policy?

This old world seems to grow a bit more stupid everyday. There's not much more one can say about nonsense like this. Our Maker had a Divine Plan for humanity---I don't think female firefighters is part of that plan!

A Canadian city under pressure for alleged sexual harassment within its fire department has ordered firefighters to wear only boxer-style underwear. They expect to reduce sexual harassment by prohibiting women from wearing bras? Weird.

Well, probably about 90% of the calls nowadays are EMT and vehicle accident-related anyway, and (the right) women can handle that just fine.
But there are d@mn few women who can perform a structural fire rescue alone. It's hard enough for a 'big man' in full turn out/mask/ tools to get it done. Ya gotta have significant upper body strength.
IT's not that women CAN'T do it, it's more that no one who can't should be allowed on hose or ladder.
