"Do you know if newspapers carried this story?"

I make it a habit refrain from reading the lamestream media newspapers in Virginia, so most of the time I wouldn't be able to tell you.

I just checked. Holding my nose all the while.

The short answer: no. The longer answer: one newspaper was spending it's ink endorsing Mr. Webb. Another is running an article about Mr. Webb lashing out at Sen. Allen's advertisments. The third is reporting that Mr. Webb has raised more money than Sen. Allen this month. And the fourth is running a story about how Mr. Webb is attracting large crowds. In fairness, the fourth paper also ran an article about Sen. Allen visiting a city in the same area.

Thank you for helping demonstrate (again) that any time spent reading the major Virginia newspapers is wasted time.

Just FYI (I will vote straight GOP) Webb campaign is now claiming this was an historical event witnessed by 300 people.
