I have never read and of Webbs books. I suppose that he has certain characters much like in real life that are not all Mormons going on a two year mission trip.

Politics ain't bean bag. The WP has been hammering Allen for several months on almost a daily basis. They have portrayed him as a bigot, racist, and self-hating Jew. Webb has no faults, which is why they endorsed him.

The Webb campaign has gone over to the dark side in their ads. They did the same thing in the Dem primary. I am glad that Allen has finally started to fight back in the only way the Dems respect. Allen is playing hardball. It is time for the knockout punch.

According to internal Allen polls, he is up by seven to eight points. If he wins going away, it will serve him in good stead in 2008.
