When I posted earlier, I had not read any of the passages. To be perfectly honest, I don't want the mental image of the one sentence excerpt I read soon thereafter, so I'm going to leave this subject. I don't know Mr. Webb. I haven't read more than one chapter of his books. (One chapter of Fields of Fire, I think.) I wouldn't vote for him regardless of what he wrote.
And if the readers are perverted, then everyone on FreeRepublic who has read the excerpts posted on this thread is a pervert. Maybe there should be a warning. I had to click off this thread earlier because my son walked into the room. I wouldn't want him reading this.

You missed my point... You seem to be suggesting that's there's no ill in writing such things. Do you consider it OK to write porn? (which is what that part is).
