Maybe Drudge is citing something coming in the WashPost trying to protect Webb's nuttiness by falsely blaming Allen for bringing it up.
Webb's dysfunctional personality should be a larger part of the race. Everyone seems to think he's wrapped too tight.
An undercurrent of Allen's successful ads with the Annapolis girls complaining about him is his evident misogyny.
I also think the public should know that Jim Webb includes gratuitous pedophilia in his novels. For that reason alone I would vote against him. Call me stodgy. :-
Now, folks, let's be fair. Webb was writing a novel. It is makebelieve. Just like Mark Ferhman using the N-word in enacting scenes from a friends novel. That was makebelieve. So lets give Mr.Webb at least the same coverage for his fiction as the G*****mn media gave hell to Ferhman for his fiction .
