Allen isn't "exposing" anything if these are all published works....... the real question is why has the MSM treated Webb with kid gloves? (of course we all know the answer)
Any Republican candidate who had published even ONE of these passages, never mind such an enormous wagonload of bull feces, would have been raked over the coals so thoroughly his candidacy would never have gotten off the ground.
Sure, these are "novels" (so to speak, they sound utterly wretched) and Webb can claim they are merely fictional concoctions not reflective of any actual view he holds...... but if indeed none of his "novels" show much of anything of merit and lots of abuse of women, demeaning and degrading stereotypes, etc. etc. even Democrat halfwits ought to get the idea that maybe this guy doesn't respect women, revels in the the degradation of children, etc.
BREAKING … Pajamas Media has learned Fox News is working on a story about the novels of Jim Webb, Democrat running neck-and neck with George Allen for Allen’s Virginia Senate seat. Webb - who trumpets his authorship heavily in campaign - will be accused of sexism in his work on tonight’s Brit Hume Show. Paragraphs from Webb’s novels will be cited, which also contain possible racial slurs.

My apologies if this has been brought up, this thread is 30+ posts now. I searched for "Susan Combs" in FR and didn't find anything.
In Texas, the GOP candidate for state comptroller, Susan Combs, has been smeared by a democrat pinhead opponent for writing a romance novel 15+ years ago, which the dem calls "pornographic."
Basically, this has caused the dem to be portrayed as a laughingstock - which in fairness, he probably would have been anyway, or just ignored.
I'm concerned that maybe this could backfire on Allen. Webb's stuff is much worse, more perverted, but who knows? The media may paint him as a persecuted artist.
I'm not sure Allen should have doen this. I wonder if he's seen polls or something showing Webb ahead.

Allen should probably not have touched this himself.
Too funny. They've known about Webb's little foray into the publishing world for a long time now - I guess Allen and co. were just waiting for the correct time to release the October surprise! Good. Screw Webb.
