Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry...Healey
listen to Howie weekdays 3-7 pm on WRKO and also at link
below (as well as affiliates throughout New England). Rebroadcast online at 1 pm (all times Eastern)

Note to those in Western MA: The Red Sox (and Celtics) are
moving to the all new WVEI-FM 105.5 Easthampton/Springfield.
This means no more Sox pre-empting Howie on WHYN 560. (From
today's Springfield Republican: "WHYN 560 AM in Springfield, which carried Red Sox broadcasts for several years, no longer will do so"
Patrick Buchanan as a guest -- I'm not sure I can take this . . . :(
Buchanan thinks if the Dems win, Bush will go along with a "modest" amnesty and pathway to citizenship, and it will tear apart the Republican party.
Yes, but they are moving to WRKO. The flagship station of the Howie Carr Show. I e-mailed Howie to let him know he finally got a Live Thread on FR.
In most cases Howie's show may not be affected but who knows.
WCRN 830 is one alternative--the show will go on even if the Sox are on. Conflicts may mostly happen during April or
on 'Getaway days' (team about to fly somewhere else) when there could be 1 pm starts...but I've also heard that while WRKO is the flagship for the Sox, CERTAIN GAMES will be on
WEEI (maybe Fri nights too)
Sox games at Fenway and several other Eastern Time Zone cities start at 7. It's hoped that the pre-game would air on WEEI and the game itself would start at 7 on 'RKO.
thanks for emailing him--we have had Live Threads before
but hope to make this a regular thing.
Pat was only on for one segment.

Today's poll.
President Bush signed a bill today to build a fence along the U.S. border with Mexico.
Do you think President Bush is finaly getting serious about curbing illegal immigration?
No is currently at 70 per cent.
>>online at
that should say 1 AM!
From what I've heard the SOX games will not preempt Howie if you listen online.
Well, well, Jim McGreevey would like to get married to his gay lover (didn't mention divorcing his female wife)!
Didn't know Howie had a thread.
Excellent!
hey new logo! Do I detect a revival of the "Big 68" font?
The Phoenix attacks WRKO for being shills for the Republicans.
Yes, supporting the party which has 13 per cent of voters
as members. Ooh, I bet the Dems are scared!
And Howie has always supported Republicans. He never attacked
Jane Swift. He never bashed Matt Amorello. And he never
bashed Mitt. What a shill for the GOP! :)
Puke alert.

"Howie Carr, 3 pm7 pm
Pro-Healey talking point: Mihos should drop out
The big event on Carrs show is an interview with Mihos, in which Carr tries to browbeat his one-time good buddy into dropping out of the race. Theres an interesting back story here: Carr has admitted (in his Herald column) that he feels bad about beating up on Kerry Healey Muffy, as he used to call her for the past few years. Between Muffys bad press and his encouragement of Mihos, Carr inadvertently helped Patrick out; now hes trying to undo the damage, or at least salve his guilty conscience."
From Boston Phoenix. DePetro, Carr, and Miller are the puppets in this pic.
you can also catch him on AM 560 out of Springfield -
so we have 680, 830 and 560.....and still you can lose the signal all over the state!
The MSM is detracting from any gains or splashes that Healey makes, and like the rest of the country following the lead of the national news, attempts to present this election and all others as "all over", in favor of the Dems, don't bother showing up....
I am peeved with Howie for throwing Kerry out so early - the polls he quotes so often are STILL and always questionable polls - this last Suffolk one was 400 'likely' voters who answered the phone ! from Friday to Monday - and
....
as one caller said, union workers contacted by phone will ALWAYS say 'Patrick', but then they spit and pull the Republican lever....
that caller also intimated that many voters feel pressure to answer the PC way, "Patrick" when in fact they could never vote for him for all very un-PC reasons....
It will be interesting to see how many old-school conservative union Democrats actually pull that lever for Deval. He seems like Howard Dean to me: all the press attention, celebrities, and on-line supporters, but not much mainstream support...
BTW, Howie is great. I often call into the show on the way home from work...
talked to another three dems today who say they refuse to vote for devil.....they feel he is an empty suit, stuffed with affirmative action and "feeeeeeeeeeeelings".........
