I don't know where you have been but in April his position was that he would ONLY sign a bill that had amnesty. The White House web site today still says that amnesty is his goal. The House and Senate both engineered a stalled bill and recessed for the summer break. When they got home the got nailed by us. When they went back a magic fence appeared and was signed today even though the funding is flim flam. I predict if any fence is built it will only be very short and immediately deemed a failure and work stopped. All of this info is out there on FNC as well as many sites that track positions on immigration. I googled it and got about 100,000 hits. Which ones will satisfy your apparent lack of knowledge on this subject? Oh and there are several threads on FR that ran during that period with lots of direct quotes etc.
