I recall a lot of Freepers panicking that they 'knew' he would not sign the bill because of his push for some sort of 'New World Order' superstate. Now, I suppose they 'know' the fence will never be built.. (only chance of that is if the dems win in 12 days..)
It wasn't FReepers who said the fence would never be built...it was Senator John Cornyn of Texas who described the legislation as a "gesture".
