This was just too funny to pass up. Sounds like these two watched way too many Yogi Bear cartoons.

If they had watched Winnie the Pooh, they would have known to use honey, not those other sweets.

Overkill. A lousy stick of gum in his pocket would have sufficed.

WHat a couple of dumb a$$es. Everyone knows you use picnic baskets full of snacks. Bears have dignity too.
Seriously tho, these 2 clowns should NEVER be allowed to get a hunting permit again. Stick to fishing!

2 day old bakery sweet roll throw-outs are better, and free.
as long as you remove them before the hunt.

My husband bow hunts for bear in Canada annually. They are allowed to hunt over bait which consists partly of honey, syrup, and donuts. He states its pretty frustrating when huge squirrels (I'm picturing Chip and Dale) come up, steal the donuts, and walk off on their hind legs with their comparatively large stash.

Were they eating the junk food while they waited for the bears to show up? I don't think this is fair hunting. Would have been funny if the bears over looked the junk food and ate them.

I thought Bear Baiting was putting a Bull and a bear in the same pen.
