ST. LOUIS -- Game 4 of the World Series at Busch Stadium was rained out Wednesday, pushing the next two games of the Series back at least a day. But chances of getting in Games 4 and 5 any time soon aren't good.

Rove rain machine malfunctions

No, this was perfectly planned in an attempt to get Michael J. Fox off the news for a while.

Rove is brilliant and this is even more proof.

You didn't get Roves memo, this has been planned since early 2002, as a preliminary to the big 'October suprise'.

We need to FedEx you your up to date decoder ring and codeword sheet right away, so you can stay in the loop.

The DUmmies don't stand a chance! LOL

I heard that Rove is planning to rain out the World Series until election day, in order to reduce the vote in St. Louis.

I might have to put my foot down when Karl starts choosing the winners of the World Series.

Hopefully a rain-out will change their luck.

Go TIGERS!

How dare you question his plans ... where where you when he created weather?

Our's is not to question why, just accept it and know that there are some things in HIS world that we will never understand.

No. I think Howard Dean did this. He wanted to prevent to counter michael fox commercial to be played during game 4.

The baseball season is far too long, and the insistence of MLB to play all World Series games at night is just asking for trouble in late October. Or will it be November by the time this thing is done?

The rain will pass eventually, but it's likely to be cold and miserable in St. Louis, and even more so in Detroit.

I can hardly wait until the Colorado Rockies make the Series (hey, it could happen some day). A nice, brisk, late October night game in Denver. Gametime temperatures in the 30s would be typical; in the 20s entirely possible. Has a baseball game ever been canceled in dry weather due to cold temps?

I hope so, last time he took a day off the Democratic Party was formed and temporarily ruined his plans for world domination.

Once. But they just picked up sticks and the NHL was born.
