Son is studying John Locke and Rousseau. Rousseau would be right in there with these guys, a dangerously naive vision of a utopia where "love is enough" to turn our enemies away.

So true....I actually had one guy tell me yesterday that it is a good thing that the Islamofacists are taking over northern Africa when compared to the war lords being in power....I was speechless....
I'm convinced they do not think more than one week in advance when it comes to how today's actions will impact future events...
