I can excuse Michael J. Fox for the political ad. He's grasping at the illusion that somebody (Republicans) are standing in the way of a possible cure like a drowning man going for a life preserver.

Why should MJF be "excused". No one put a gun to his head making him to make these misleading and lying ads. He did that of his own free will.

Why should MJF be "excused".

Odds are that fetal stem cell research would not provide a cure to Parkinsons. But if you are suffering from Parkinsons and there is 1 chance in a million that it might, then you might be upset at the possibility that the door is closed to further research (more so if you are not pro-Life to begin with). It is the Democrats (McCaskill) who are taking unfair advantage of Fox, his illness & his attitudes about ethical medical research to create a cheap, drive-by hit piece.

Ok Dane. I will explain it slowly to you since you are a democrat. Michael J. Fox is slowly dying a pretty crappy death. He is under the mistaken belief that stem cells from embryos will guarantee that he won't die. He is grasping at straws and trying to save his life.

His motivation is entirely different than your other fellow democrat politicians who are exploiting him, oh and Arlen Specter too. Fox cut a very similar ad for Arlen in 2004 because he is pro stem cell murder.
