Well, what about committee chairmen?

If Republicans have a majority, their chairmen determine what legislation comes to the floor. Isn't that more important than the views of any one senator?

First we needed it to pass the legislation...
Then we needed the majority to get the Majority leader...
Then we needed the majority to defeat filibusters

So now we need it to get committee chairmen? I'm not one to cut off my nose to spite my face, but all the RNC gets from me now is a vote in the general elections. Which comes after I help campaign against them in the primaries.
