The NRA is doing serious damage with its perpetual harping about how guns are all about "sports". The RKBA vote is now being called the "sportsmen's vote", further convincing people who don't grasp the importance of RKBA that the "gun nuts" are unreasonable for objecting to having their toys registered.
Excuse me, but exactly when and where has the NRA "harped about how guns are all about sport"?? As an NRA member, I get the NRA mag, and self-defense is a MAJOR topic--about equal billing with hunting and target shooting. In fact, in the latest mag, the NRA was cautioning hunters not to buy the "sporting" argument.
You sir, are an ignorant ass. I don't know where you get your information about the NRA but it isn't from the American Rifleman magazine, America's First Freedom magazine, the NRA website or the ILA-NRA website.
