coincidence or not...
Yes, turn away from your Sodomite ways and turn to Jesus for redemption and forgiveness.
HEH HEH! I read that thread on DU too. They are very worried right now.
Kean Jr. is just a " RAT" in Pubbie clothing . What's a person to do ? Elect ANOTHER Chaffee?? I'll pass on this cycle. BOTH are poison.
Waiting is "torture," Steven Goldstein said, but there's something worse. "I have gotten absolutely zero sleep in the last few days. I wake up in the middle of the night and rush to my computer...."
Dear Steve - just quietly go back to your pornography you fag and don't talk about it publicly. What you do with your computer in the middle of the night doesn't interest us.
The Keans are rich, liberal, country club Republicans. But the New Jersey Democrats are even worse.
Sort of like God allowing Adam to name the animals; your Rulers, oh New Jersey, are allowing you to name this monster.
Deserves repeating, over & over & over!! Thanks!!
I realy don't know if there will be any real backlash - but it could cause a little sway in the support....we'll see the coming days.
New Jersey holds its gubernatorial and legislative elections in odd-numbered years. In 2007, the legislature is up for grabs, and the governorship comes up in 2009. This issue will have no immediate effect on state government because state government is not up for grabs.
Seats in Congress are up for grabs this November, but this state decision will have little effect on House races and the Senate race unless it's a purely emotional effect.
The state Supreme Court's ultimatum to the legislature, however, puts the Democrats in a lose-lose situation for 2007. If they create "gay marriage" or "gay civil unions", a lot of people are going to be steamed, mostly conservative. If they balk, they are going to piss off liberals. If the state Supreme Court takes over because the legislature cannot, then you have an even larger backlash from voters in general because unelected judges have redefined how the people shall live.
This is one of those decisions that will have greater effects in a year than in a month.
Your choice. Of course, it'll be a relief knowing you won't be taking up any bandwidth complaining about anything political here for the next two years.
(steely)
This is just the issue to get the social conservatives to the polls. I think the GOP probably just picked up at least two seats they otherwise would have lost.
The liberals are so dumb, so blatantly stupid. I hope Kean has the good sense to denounce the court or at a minimum, to keep quiet. If he supports the ruling, he will probably clinch defeat from the jaws of victory.
"Steven Goldstein said I have gotten absolutely zero sleep in the last few days."
Maybe he should count penises....then go off to sleep!
Most people I know from NJ are very conservative!
I ALWAYS complain about the politics in this friggin' state . BUT as of Jan 1, I will have permanent residency in good old Florida where my vote WILL count for something . YOU can make sure to shut the door when YOU decide to leave.
He may be a RINO but an R next to his name will affect things like Chairmanships in the Senate. It will be much worse if the Dems take control.
You pass... we all lose. Wake up.
Kean just came out saying he wants Rumsfield to resign,Hastert to resign, and bashed Limbaugh over his MJ Fox comments . He might as well move to the other side of the aisle .
Do you want THIS guy to be the deciding vote in the Senate ? We are between a rock and a hard place on this one . The Republican party NEVER should have selected this goofball as a Senate candidate .
