I heard the "racist" charge of the ad against Ford earlier this morning. I didn't 'get' it. That's too far of a reach for me.

Jr walks a fine line. As a lite skinned African-American child of privilege he has to convince a certain segment of the Democrat Party that he is "Black enough" to represent them, hence the verbal digression that has been pointed out on FR. On the other hand he also has to come back to the middle to convince others he is an educated moderate type person.

The real Ford bottom line is that all he has, every advantage he has ever gained has been paid for with dirty money stolen from the people of Tennessee, most notably those he professes to stand up for.

Mary Matalin was on with Russet last evening. He demanded she insist the ad was racist. She handled herself well and turned the topic back on Russet.
