I wonder if those who believe in sola scriptura also believe that there were no Christians for the 300 years before the bible as we know it was put together? Better yet, how about the fact that the bible was only readily available to the extremely wealthy or religious clergy until 1454 (prior to the use of the printing press in Europe, the bible was copied by hand and owning one took three years worth of wages). I guess all the people who couldn't afford one or were illiterate weren't true Christians either.

At least us fake Christians will have A LOT of company in hell. :)

Not to mention the fact that even if a person could afford a Bible, the wait to receive one was very long. However, the affordability and availability was not really the issue because MOST PEOPLE WERE ILLITERATE.
