Russia ready to make a deal on Iran.
- Kommersant reported that the Kremlin has made it known that if Washington removes the objections that are keeping Russia out of the WTO, Moscow will be prepared to make several concessions on the problems that are the biggest thorns in America's side: North Korea and Iran.
Russia warns against military action against Iran.
- Haaretz reported that Russian president Vladimir Putin denounced any military operation against Iran in a meeting last week with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

- Toronto Sun reported that the swift move to penalize North Korea for its nuclear test could clear the way for punishing Iran over its disputed nuclear program, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday. "It really does help to create a momentum."
- Iran Focus reported the brother of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced that he had registered to stand in the upcoming Assembly of Experts polls.

In other news, Russia becomes the country that everyone trusts the least, even countries like NK and Iran. Putin hopes to be able to trade family members for oil deals very soon.

Appears to be a piece of the puzzle I was waiting to hear of.
I kept feeling that this was not going to be the WWIII kickoff overtly, brazenly time. I could still be wrong. We are not out of 2006 yet. But it just has not felt like the time quite yet.
But I couldn't quite understand how the Iranian thing was going to be blunted or restrained. Perhaps this is the answer.
Appears that THE PUPPET MASTERS HAVE SPOKEN AGAIN AND REVEALED YET ANOTHER PUZZLE PIECE in their dance, convoluted maneuvers toward scaring the world into a global government. This piece seems to keep the tensions alive while relaxing them a bit . . . probably giving more time to put more authortarian pieces into place.

Wherner von Braun was correct . . . and IF the Iraq war is moderated seriously over the next 18 months, then we should see the UFO/ET thing ramped up as von Braun indicated in 1974 would happen after the war on terror and the war on Iraq.
