Yeah, ol Jimmy was pretty depraved and dissolute. IOW, outside of rock & roll, not much value to the world. That's R&R. Nothing unique in that regard.
But JM and the Doors made some very good music. Light My Fire made a real impact that summer of 67, seems not that long ago to me. That one was Robbie's baby. Said one of the great things about playing it was his lead guiter was never exactly the same each time.
We'll see how Kurt's music stands up 35 years later. It'll be, uh, Kurt who?
