Up until President GHWB Almost all wars were started by the Democrats. Hence the saying
: "Hold on to your war bonds, the Democrats are in power."

You forgot:
LBJ escalated Viet Nam.
Clinton got us involved in the Balkans.
And Carter is the major cause of all the mess in the Mid-East.
