"when your yarn stash fills 2 plastic tubs, which you hide under a table"

Piker. ;-D

I'm more at the stash level of the Yarn Harlot....

LOL! I am strictly limiting myself to yarn purchased at Joann's, or Ben Franklin...Ben had Paton classic wool for half off during Sept (October's special is 25% off needles and books, for anyone who *needs* them!). I won't let myself go into a true yarn store, I know there'd be trouble, and I'd have some 'splainin to do!

I also do not allow myself to buy the bags of yarn at the local thrift stores...uhm, well, if the yarn has labels on it, and it's wool, ok. Oh, and if I can tell it is wool, ok. Thankfully, I don't know how to tell the different types of yarn by touch, so I'm safe....for now!

Be careful when you do the math and figure you'll save money if you take up spinning to have handspun wool to knit with.

No acrylic allowed in my house!

And then there's the matter of what breeds of sheep make the nicest spinning fleeces.... =:-0
