Maybe it would be a good thing. If the GOP has done no wrong, they shouldn't be concerned. I would rather have the congress spinning their wheels on a bunch of nonsense going nowhere than have them in my life and my pocket and making more laws that only reduce the quality of my life, tax me, harass me or all of the above. If it turns out the GOP has something to be concerned about, I would like to see them get what they deserve.
It's politics and even if they've done nothing wrong it has a tendency to stain the innocent.
I'm sure they will be able to multitask for tax increases for the "rich" and greater regulation of "nasty" big corporations. Heck they may even stop global warming, with your help! And you life will be much freer, you will be able to get an abortion whenever you want. You will be able to marry whoever or whatever you want and your quality of life will go up because they will give "FREE" healthcare. /S
