The GOP in the congress has no one to thank but themselves. Other than two fine appointments to the SC, on balance they have been less than stellar. If that's the kind of gov't you want, go ahead and keep trumpeting them. I'd vote for Pres Bush in a heartbeat if he were running again. As far as some of the GOP incumbents, I don't care if they get tossed overboard. That is the only way we will ever have a chance to replace them with someone better.

Ok, so lets look at the situation. Most conservatives would agree that the house republicans did their part, besides an analysis of all the close house races would take too long. So lets look at the Senate. Below is a list of the tight races that incumbant Republicans could lose along with their ACU (American Conservative Union) Rating. A 100 is a perfect canservative voting record.

Kyl - 100
Talent - 84
Burns - 100
Dewine - 56
Santorum - 92
Chaffee - 12
Allen - 100

So I'll give you Chaffee, he is a liberal and maybe Dewine. But that leaves five solid conservstives that you are helping to defeat by your moaning. If they lose, I doubt you will get any better in the future. I think the ones that are making you angry aren't even running this year.
