The Savage bashers (TM) dogpile on him when they think he'll muck up an election. You could set your watch by it. Little do they realize Savage is the best friend the Repubs have in radio. By taking them to task and asking the verboten questions, he tries them by fire. And serves to illustrate that as on-the-take, out of touch, weak spined, and wishy washy the Republicans are, the Democrats are orders of magnitude worse. I saw this coming two weeks ago when Savage threw down the gauntlet and said he had no dirt. So someone carefully datamined candidate contribution records and came up with the Jerry Brown thing. Aha, j'accuse! To those who understand Savage it is meaningless, and to those to hate him, it's a convenient excuse to go ballistic.
