After all the hype is swept away, Obama's appeal is simply that he is articulate. No matter what the content of his message, his easy, off-hand manner carries the day with all of those who prefer style to substance.

Thanks.
VP Cheney wields language with amazing finesse.

OMG you are WAY too funny, Patriot.

I don't know if it's a cloned candidate, but I was astounded to see the model on the cover of Talbot's Men's catalog looked an awful lot like Obama.

He gives him a meaningless compliment while pointing out that he has only been a senator for two years and might need a little more experience.
This is Hillary's first term, too. But, of course, she was president, er, co president for 8 years.

The only problem is that Conyers and the Leftists want to Impeach Bush, Cheney, Condi, Rumsfeld and all the Bush team!
And everyone who voted for him. LOL

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts: 1. Commitment to God 2. Commitment to the Black Community 3. Commitment to the Black Family 4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education 5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence 6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic 7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect 8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness" 9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community 10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions 11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System 12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.
Replace the word "black" with "white" and you think the MSM and libs wouldn't blow a gasket? I don't care what color it is against. Discrimination is discrimination.

I choose not to explain because it is irrelevant. No offense but we have enough real issues. Why worry about one that doesn't exist?

The voting record is important. Unfortunately, most people ignore it, and candidates - especially stealth candidates, like Obama, or remade candidates like Hellary - make every effort to conceal it.

Fair enough. I just thought because you took the time to post, you might have a reason in particular.

It may not be the best-written sentence, but can you think of a better way to express the concept? I tried and really couldn't come up with anything better.

anybody happen to see the magazine cover (time? newsweak?) which had obama with the caption "our next president." they are not content to count their off term chickens. they are counting a presidential four years out. oh the weeping and nashing of teeth after repubs hold the house and senate. can't wait!
