Looking at some of the other blogs and bulletin boards that I tend to frequent,
like this one, it seems that the hecklers that interrupted the debate were not Lamont supporters, but Lyndon LaRouche supporters...question is, though, who hired them to attend??

"... it seems that the hecklers that interrupted the debate were not Lamont supporters, but Lyndon LaRouche supporters..." You have to ask, just how mentally disturbed one has to be to be a LaRouche supporter?

Lyndon did, using whatever credit card fraud sources his organization could get their hands on. ;') It's part of his skinhead/neonazi/proIslamofascism milieu.
In 1976, the USLP (with LaRouche the Jew-hater at the top of the ticket) plastered campaign posters around the campuses which had Carter's face superimposed over a photo of a mushroom cloud, with the caption, "a vote for Carter will trigger thermonuclear war". After the election, the USLP sued for some recounts, basically on behalf of Ford.
