Much of his criticism has been very constructive. He has pointed out that we seem to be moving to a Vietnma-style politiican-driven strategy and that isn't a victory strategy. He was the one to call for bombing the Triangle of Death, where we know the enemy congregates. he has been very critical of putting our own troops on death row for doing their jobs, i.e., trying to win the war, while we coddel and often release terrorists and do little to prevent tehm from sneaking into our country. These are specific policy ideas, just not the kind that certain Establishment Republicans are looking for.
I just think his tone is pretty harsh and a turn off. He is already saying that those marines are innocent when he doesn't have all of the facts that the officers involved in the case have. I hope they are innocent and I know they have such a tough job. But there are so many very outstanding marines including those that have to bring punishment to those who messed up. I just wish he would calm down a bit and also not demean Rush and Sean Hannity who are doing a great job and do come down on the republicans when they are wrong.
