Great interview/debate. It's worth watching.
McClintock mopped up and nailed Garamendi on taxes, education, spending, Executive Life, etc.
Garamendi talked about his great record working with Arnie and implying Tom wasn't part of the "team" because he didn't stand with Arnold on Borrowing, Global Warming, Minimum Wage increases, Prescription Drugs, Stem-Cell... "and on and on and on." Garamendi's tone was a huge turnoff--Garamendi is really a pompous condescending ass!

Garamendi: "Education... is a national security issue."
Well, I suppose it's true, but not in the way he meant it (churning out a hate-America crowd).

Tom was interesting in dealing with Executive Life. He dwelt on individual cases for so long I was afraid he wouldn't get to the big picture, but when he did...
ouch. :-)

"Garamendi's tone was a huge turnoff--Garamendi is really a pompous condescending ass!"Finally figured out who Garamendi reminds me of -- the Great Bloviator, Alec Baldwin. Even looks a little like him. Same nose-in-the-air superior attitude with so very, very little to be superior about.
