WATERVLIET, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that it was great her fellow Democrat, Sen. Barack Obama, is thinking about running for president.
Polls show Clinton is the front-runner among potential 2008 Democratic presidential contenders and she said Friday during a debate that she has also been thinking about running.
"I think it's great that anybody thinks about whatever they want to do in the future," she said when asked about Obama during a campaign stop at a senior citizens' center just north of Albany.
"I'm focused on my campaign" for re-election to the U.S. Senate, she said. "I'm focused on reaching as many voters as possible, talking about the issues. And, that's what I'm going to be doing for the next few weeks."

Hillary doesn't need to be a governor, we already know the mess she's capable of making (see Hilarycare).
A chance to re-write his legacy?
Uh-Uh!
another reason too...their eyes...both look dead to me...
No. It's just her double talk. She said nothing negative about Obama, and many will think what she said is positive.
It was her way of saying "I don't care what he does, I only care what I will be doing."
mean ain't I....
ARKANCIDE
The DNC has been urinating on any and every liberal black who shows promise for 50 years.
The same will hold true for the not very bright Osama Obama Namma Jamma : )
Yeah, if her unfavorables won't get her in the front door, she'll take the back door. And then kick it in.
Never ever look Hillary in the eyes you'll turn to stone or so I've heard.............
that was always the difinitive plan along with Az guv Janet " Quattro" Napolitano becoming Hillary's lover.....................oops...Attn General.
All to attract the southwest.
I called the guv "Quattro" because you and I both know she has been shaving that upper lip since she was 17.
There's only one way that jumps into mind in order to accomplish that.
Far be for me to take up for The Hildabeaste, but she DID NOT say ANYTHING about Obama.
Hey, it worked for John Edwards,...eh, well,...maybe it didn't exactly. You're covered by your second statement; "We are talking 'bout the Dems."
That's creepy when you consider this alternative...
The Clinton juggernaut will roll over any Democrat competitors in 2008...it doesn't hurt her to pretend to welcome Osama Obama to the race. If Obama does run, she'll get a look at his campaigning skills before she has to decide on her running mate.
It will be so much fun to watch Hillary and the other dems tiptoe around their token black if he runs.
Barack Obama is SO not a homeboy.
I seem to recall several FReepers that like Obama... Where did they run off to?
Translation:
Obama, meet Mister Fbifilesleakedfromnewyorktimesreporter
Also, I don't believe that Hillary Rodham's psychoses will allow her to consider veep; and
She would never consider Obama for a veep. Two reasons:
First, Obama's charisma and speaking poise would continually upstage her; and,
Second, she will surely pick a veep with extensive military bone fides (Wesley Clark, John McCain, or some other Democrat military figure.)
