Dem Disappointment Developing? [" ...fix is already in."]

Why the Democratic Revolution may not happen

Call it chronic suspicion of the conventional wisdom, or even petulant contrariness. Still, the rush to declare that the Democrats will rampage to control of Congress in two weeks seems a little shaky. There are too many uncertainties for anybody to accept uncritically predictions of 20-seat Democratic gains in the House and perhaps control of the Senate.

The biggest? If the midterm is a referendum on the Iraq war—and that is what the polls say—voting Democratic is not exactly an anti-war vote. In particular, Democratic House candidates are not within striking distance of GOP candidates on the strength of anti-war campaigns.

Ya gotta love the MSM hedging their bets. Especially when you see idiotic articles like this

Daschle: Democrats will pick up seven U.S. Senate seats

You didn't finish. Then Moonbats will file suits in a half dozen states alleging "stolen elections," Diebold theft, disenfranchisement, Repubs told Dems to vote on Wednesday, etc., etc. It's coming.

Then when they discover that "W" had used his Constitutional penumbric authority to change the "real election day" to Wednesday, and they'd just wasted their voting time on Tuesday eating bon-bons.......

....... This could get really bad.

I'm wondering where I can get a "I love Diebold" bumper sticker. Now that would be funny,

"Moonbats will rage they wuz robbed.... again."

If the media gives the election to you, and then on election day the voters decide differently, wouldn't you feel robbed?

Several years ago a candidate I knew, when asked how his campaign had gone, said, "the campaign went great until the lvoters got involved."

Great idea. Go here:Make Stickers dot com

You can design your own. I've made one that delivers this message "Get Higher Taxes--Vote Democrat!"

Heh heh heh.

After the election, I just might do "I (heart) Diebold"...it is one that only the LUNATIC LEFT will understand...and drive 'em MAD!!

I don't like that elections don't seem to be settled anymore. We all know about Florida in 2000 and the stories we hear that Ohio tipped the balance in 2004 to Bush. And that somehow these were stolen elections.

I particulary am concerned that people will start to feel that we don't have free and fair elections in this country. Also in 2004, they said how the exit polls showed Kerry was going to win, and then when Bush won, they said that proves the election was stolen, because the results didn't match the exit polls.

It sounds like Dems want to set this up so that if Republicans retain control of Congress, they will then point to the pre=election polls and perhaps biased exit polls of Election Day to "prove" that Republicans mis-counted the election results to keep Republicans in control.

Goodness gracious, what the heck is this -- Dem. activists say with a straight face that exit polls or public opinion polls count more than an actual election?

Yes because polls are even easier to rig than elections. This way, Dems can deny reality even longer and claim their ideas and values were never actually rejected by the voters.

The MSM is doing their best to disenfranchise GOP voters by all but declaring it a done deal. I think you are right. THis will end up a joke in 2 weeks. The joke will be on the Dems, AGAIN.

And it concerns me that this is the strategy of the "Big Lie" being told over and over, year after year. The lie being that we don't have free elections in this country, that so-called impartial polls show that voters prefer Democrats, and that obviously Republicans have stolen elections to stay in power. That's the big lie that Democrats want to tell the American people.
