I know. Thanks for the info on the SIECUS guidelines.

...was attempting to draw a comparison to the childhood innocence of my third grade class to the corrupted children raised by SIECUS guidelines.

...was attempting to draw a comparison to getting in trouble for something that was innocent and relatively minor, to not getting in trouble, in fact mandating something that is guilty and major.

"And too often when we give up our child rearing to experts we risk our children's moral and ethical health."

Very true. ...or our just plain lazy give up our child rearing to the media mechanisms of our sexually saturated culture which has taken something beautiful ["It is not good for man to be alone"] and twisted it, deviated it, turning it into something selfish and wicked.....we risk our children's moral and ethical health.

You're right. Loss of innocence is not to be taken lightly. Loss of innocence was the first consequence of the fall in the Garden of Eden.

I don't know if you are a faithful Christian or Jew. But as a Christian I believe when Jesus says we must become like little children,he is speaking of regaining our innocence.

It is lost too soon in adulthood. Why hurry that loss?
