I'm not sure we have faced worse. IMHO, when Eurabia becomes belligerent against us and in combination with the billion other Muslims who chant for our deaths, with willing help from North Korea, China and Russia, this may be the big one shaping up. I know that in the end, the followers of Mohammed will not prevail, but I fear that we are in for some very bad times ahead. At least I know which side I am on. Those countries which refuse to pick sides will be overrun, defeated by the ballot box and the womb.

The option to die is their wish upon you when they wage war. The US, for the present time, has chosen to fight. The Europeans, ever being hopeful they can control the outcome of any conflict without really putting any lives or treasure at risk, are trying to find a way to "manage" the "nuances" of the "situation". This is just "Oil for Food" (oil for bribes) under new management.

Liberals in the west, being the people with such good intentions, are clueless. On the one hand, they are either suckered in by people like Saddam who recruited dozens to be "human shields", or they will get suckered by Arafat wannabes to just sit down and "dialog". Just wait until Iranian Prez ArmageddonJihad signals Jesse Jackson (or similar) to help mediate between Iran and the hostile, unyielding, ideological, evil, Bush Administration. If only we could settle a few points, we could have peace in our time. The MSM would pass out from a fit of panting.

What wonderful things and glowing profiles would be showered upon the One So Blessed as to be anointed to carry the waters of peace in our time. Iran could milk this for a good year of stalling, just like the North Vietnamese argued over the shape of the negotiation table for months, maybe even so long the 12th madddie would come in the mean time.

But of course, most Freepers could predict the outcome- war in our time. And not a neat, clean, war, but maybe one more nasty than we have ever experienced.

Funny thing- I have yet to read a story by the MSM lamenting those members of the House and Senate who were not able to muster enough votes to defund development of the limited missile defense system we are now frantically rushing into operational status.
