Ah but the difference is where the money comes from. Grasroots money is more important that personal money. Barron's did their analysis based on the money donated by the folks out there. Those who donate, will go vote, and will also try and influence others to do the same and for the same candidate. Makes sense to me that the candidate that gets more of the $50 donations will do better than a guy spending his own millions, as long as the disparity is not overwhelming.

I agree with that ,my point was Lamont according to the democrats was a sure thing ,he should not have to be spending 2 million dollars more of his personal money with 2 weeks to go before the election,being against the Iraq war like the entire country as you know.
Especially in Connecticut a Liberal state
