You know nothing about who I am or what I do for a living. West Point can't turn away Muslims just because they are Muslims. Do a simple Google search - you'll find out the same thing I did.

And yes, it makes sense to me for the Army to train future officers who just happen to be Muslim. 99.9% of Muslim-Americans aren't terrorists. Army officers take an oath to protect and defend the United States. There is no reason to believe Muslim-American officers take that oath any less seriously than anyone else. Muslim-American army officers can bring language and other skills that most cadets simply don't have. And the army needs trustworthy translators in Iraq and the rest of the Arabic-speaking world.
