"While I'm no fan of the Muslim religion, the thoughts expressed on this thread do not support any argument that can be used by West Point to exclude Muslim students from either attending or practicing their faith at West Point. Simply saying it's "sick" indicates a lack of depth in thought for or against the issue."

I'm not going to simply say it's "sick".

I'm going to say that muslims are enrolling to be taught from some of the best on how they can better kill us..Which is what their religion teaches to do.

We are infidels to them.

This is more than 'sick' - it's crazy!!

Not every Muslim is a radical. Many, especially of those who live in the US, are in fact peaceful sorts, loyal to their nations. To them, their religion is just like it is to many Christians, Jews, etc - it's part of their life, part of their identity, but it is not a controlling aspect (certainly not to the point where they view their fellow Americans as "infidels").

This is certainly true of those who have the qualifications to get into West Point - do you have the foggiest idea of what the admissions/nominating process at West Point is like? If you've got a blemish, if your record is not impeccable, if you've got a link to any sort of anti-American organization, you haven't got a shot at getting in. There are plenty of people we should be worrying about - the upstanding young men and women who choose to serve, and who are selected for admission to West Point, are not among that group.
