"
If Mr. Gun Toter can't shop at Costco now, it is his loss, not Costco's"

Actually its Costco's. Costco is there to sell their products to people like him and I.

Their service sucks, their stores are ugly, and their prices are higher than regular stores.

On top of all this they make deals with local governments to acquire land through forced sale of private property. One example is a city refused a church a building permit. Bought the land for under market cost, and then sold it to Costco for $1. Their goal was the increased taxes.

We have found their prices to be much lower than the local stores. Then again, it does depend what you are looking for but overall, they are much cheaper and better quality, too.

Maybe it depends on where one lives as the customer service has been decent.

Yes, they are crowded but the lines move along rather fast.

I like Costco. Their prices in Tucson are quite competitive, their meat much better than what I've found in other stores, and the employees are polite.

It is a private business, and if they choose to ban carrying guns inside...I don't particularly mind. It is regretable, but not worth getting excited about.

Not really, Costco is there to make money selling products. If they don't have customers, they don't make any money. Besides, Sam's Club is cheaper.

Agreed.

C'mon guys and gals, have you ever been to Costo on Saturday? You can actually have your free lunch there with all the samples they offer. Also, according to Fortune Magazine, Costco is the only company with which Wall Mart can't keep up. There is a reason for this.

Also, Costco doesn't need a shopper with a chip on his shoulder. Maybe he should just take his chip somewhere else.
