Yet Iraqis, under real actual threat of death, voted three times... and believe me, their turnout was more than ours.
Ah yes....but for years, I have to admit that my husband and I did not vote...because if we registered to vote..we might get picked for jury duty.
I am not proud of that...but, it was when we were young, had two kids..and it took all of our energy to deal with that...
That is not a good excuse, and I nag my kids to vote ...but, I think there are a LOT of people like we were..didn't want to be bothered....or called for jury duty.
