Also..did you happen to hear that Kay Bailey Hutchison said that she would NOT have voted to go to war in Iraq..if she had known there were no WMDs???

There was a thread about that...and a LOT of freepers were saying they wouldn't vote for her now, because of that.

I know she will win handily...but, why do these polticians have to be so STUPID???

I remember telling someone from Jersey about the guys loitering about a school that was getting some construction work done (extension or something), they blew it off.
Will it take a terrorist bombing (Beslan), of school kids here to wake them up? I pray not.

Plus, she wouldn't need the black vote....they will vote for her regardless..

Do you remember a while back (first of the year maybe)...there was some buzz that Pelosi would NOT want Harman to be Chairman of Intelligence Committee IF they got the Majority...

I wonder if LA Pelosi might have something to do with getting this investigation started??

Of course, Pelosi WILL stab a fellow Congresscritter in the back....I read last night that she is NOW not backing Murtha for Majority Leader..when she said she would, over Steny Hoyer.

Same here...It would be the bitterest of ironies if these midterm elections result in a weakened US posture. One that emboldens the terrorists and eventually leads to a crackdown that makes the Bush administration's actions, in retrospect, seem like those of a strict schoolmaster.

Yes, I remember that Pelosi was against Harman and Harman had a somewhat hard fight in the preliminary. I highly suspect that Pelosi (and possibly Babs - who used to be related to Hitlery by marriage) may be behind some of this. It sure wouldn't surprise me. I also noticed a big change in Harman - -I used to consider her somewhat reasonable - for a Dem. She changed some months ago and I suspect Peloisi and others told her to get in step w them or they'd make it very difficult for her. Perhaps she changed and they decided to make it difficult anyway, because she wasn't 'one of them' per se. I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them.

We won't have much time for freeping in the next two weeks, we will be too busy busting our butts to keep the majority. I would love for Lugar to take a laxative the night before he appears on any of these shows,maybe two or three laxatives because outside of the frozen on stupid smile, he always looks and sounds verrrryy constipated. He never makes any sense when he talks either, it is blah, blah, blah! We must remember how we all felt after the 2000 elections and the Rats tried to steal the Election. We were all in shock and disbelief,but we recovered and fought hard and won in the end. We have to get back that fighting spirit for the last two weeks of the Campaign. We also need to wring the necks of the Conservative reactionary Talk Shows People that have done their darndest to screw over the Republican party. Rush is not one of the reactionaries,but most of the others are guilty as sin of helping the Dirty Dems. All of a sudden they realize their stupidity,and ego may cost the republican Party the Majority. Who in the Heck will listen to any of them anymore if that should happen? They have two weeks to undo two years of over the top criticism on their part. Too many Sports Talk Radio critical pundits have ruined Sports,now too many egos in Conservative Talk Radio are hurting the GOP,and they are finally beginning to see their destructive ways.
