Sure, that's why you voted against Prop. 76, that would have helped control spending, and that's why you can't bring yourself to vote FOR Arnold, AGAINST Angelides, who plans to raise everyone's taxes by billions. Sure, that's how a fiscal conservative acts, sure. So soon you forget, FO. There were many conservative reasons for voting against Prop 76, remember?
Prop 76 was a sham to mask more borrowing, had less than 50% Republican support, and did nothing to cap spending.

They would have done better eliminating the state income tax. I think a spending cap can be too easily busted. Better remove the spigot that sends such a huge funnel of money into Sacramento.
