This is a very lopsided report. The specific monks in question are accused of financial embezeling. The head of the Greek Orthodox Church is ordering their removal due to the accusations.
It would be akin to the Pope ordering an embezeling monk removed from a Catholic Monestary.
The church in Greece has been cleaning house lately by removing some very corrupt priests after there have been some scandals with priests and finances.
